I've busy crafting another batch of my big babby bottles, this time for Anthrocon. Although I'm not going I'm having a friend of mine who makes pacifiers sell them there for me at his table. In production are 4 pink bottles, 5 yellows, 3 orange, 2 dark blues, at least 5 clear and probably 3 purples. Due to injuring my hand earlier this week I'm having this friend complete the remaining bottles that aren't pictured.
After a lot of discussion with this friend, the bottles will be $25.00 each. In the beginning I sold them slightly above the cost of the materials for $16.00 When he offered to sell them at conventions for me (I had to mail him the bottles) I raised the price to $18.00 each to recover the shipping costs, but Marky found he was losing money -- being charged bank fees for accepting credit cards at the various cons that he sold my bottles at, soo he set the price to $25.00 I know that is a bit steep but I have not much choice in the matter.

Another con I wasn't able to attend ( being broke sucks) I'm not a part of his company as such... There is plans in the works that I'm arranging a deal with him that he would begin crafting my bottles for sale on his website towards the end of this year. I'm not selling my business, but rather letting him do the work of making them and then he sends me a royalty check for each one sold since he would be using my crafting techniques and equipment that I designed and built for making the bottles. This of course give me a little more free time to pursue other interests.

Regardless of who creates these sort of bottles, there will always be a slight chance that it may leak, either from production flaw or simply by not having the nipple situated correctly in the cap.

Its unlikely that Markey would be agreeable to that, unless you had talked with him directly. Going early to the dealer's den on day 1 or ordering from me directly is your best bet. I have some stock of bottles on hand with me. I have clear, pink, yellow, orange, light green, army green, dark blue. My supplier hasn't restocked for a few months so not sure if I'll be able to find purple or baby blue for a while.
