Yup. Drake can attach a couple of them on his back. The fixtures can also double as shields.

So do wings in this world function primarily as a means of flight, or as an added set of limbs to carry stuff on?

They aren't so much built for flight as hey are meant for better balance. The way the dragons from the mountainous region evolved, the wings aren't as strong as they would've been before. The dragons have bulked up at the expense of their flight capability.

The later. Since his wings are at a lower placement than like with other Dragons, it also makes it easier for him to draw them with his primary hand too it he needs to as well. The also double as extra shielding since large wings tend to be large targets.

It depends. I'm not exactly a "fast" drawer, and I have other things that take up some of my time to make pages. My goal though was to try to get at least a page or two out a week for this strip. Something easier to do since I didn't have to worry about coloring them.

has king Drake actually called queen Excalibur "lexy" in-front of people? i feel like one of their subjects will pick up on that...
