i saw on your page your operating system is mac
and since i know its alot of work to get sai on a mac
what program do you use?

I do use a Mac, yeah.
I use Photoshop CS5~

Yeah I tried downloading Sai, but it required me opening a weird PC portal/desktop on my Mac to run the program. In the end, it wasn't worth the trouble.

my friend was telling me how he could just make windows a secondary whatever on my mac and i told him it really wasnt worth all that trouble

i use sketchbook pro and i hate it so much
it keeps you from doing so much easily
you absolutely cannot make any kind of icons unless you shrink them after you are done
you cant do any transperent stuff
everything you do is really pixelated if you look too close

is it fairly easy to draw with photoshop since its a photo editing software?
i tried using gimp but it drove me crazy trying to figure out how to use it

Yeah, Photoshop is really easy to draw in; it's pretty much an amped-up version of Sai.
And the best part is it's available on all computer platforms hahaha

My brother tried getting me to use illustrator but I didn't understand it at all

but really, with using sketchbook anything sounds like heaven

i was going to buy mischeif when i finally decided i was done with sketchbook
but since its in its beginning phase, pretty much brand new, i read that it wasnt good for much other than sketching
the endless/infinite canvas thing is super cool though you can zoom in forever and it never pixels
but everyone says thats all its got going for it right now

But yeah, Photoshop is pretty great, especially when you know all the buttons and secrets haha
But overall, it's pretty easy to learn the basics; enough to make art anyways~
