An WIP example for Auric's weapon in its default dagger form drawn by artist Ashe Skyler ( http://art.raven-wing.net ). This example is a bit too straight near the base (for the short dagger blade), but it's not too big of a deal. We may be able to curve the entire edge like it was part of a large circle or ellipse, I'd need to use one of those reference blades to figure out what the shape of the edge is when it starts to curve. That's part of why I included some of my favorite reference blade shapes on the info sheet.

An objective for the design is that it not look too specific to an individual culture (European, Chinese, Japanese, etc.). Note that the hand guard (tsuba) and pommel are removable, so they can be changed for different designs to better fit in a specific culture when desired.

The mostly spherical pommel keeps it from looking too Japanese. The decoration on the pommel keeps it from being too plain/boring, but it still feels like the pommel needs something.
