I know that Christmas is nearly six months away, but I couldn't help but wait until now to post one of my best holiday drawings ever - which was previously photocopied and sent out to various friends and relatives during the holidays. (It was originally done with a fine-lined rapidograph, a calligraphy pen, and several colored pencils [the latter items used on each separate photocopy]. Since then, I've touched up portions of this work digitally with my Photo Impression program.)
I always wondered what Rudolph does on certain Christmas Eves, when the skies were unusually clear. And now, all of you know, too!
But the real significance of said gag is the fact that this was handdrawn back in 1990... when America undergoing a 'recession'... and when the country was run by a President Bush! Coincidence? YOU be the judge...
Talk about "like father, like son"...

Thanks for the positive feedback, Wanderwolf. I can always use some every day!
Years later, I drew another holiday gag with more bumper stickers on the back of a sleigh - the best one of the bunch being a parody of the Marines' "Semper Fi" sticker, which (in this case) read "Adeste Fi". If you are into Christmas carols, you'll get this joke immediately...

Yeah, I always seem to have this knack of finding artwork that's too late to post for a particular occasion or holiday. In addition to this Christmas gag, I'd also found an old Groundhog's Day comic gag, which I'll probably post before the end of June (rather than wait until next February 2nd). Watch out for it...
