Rob Barion is my fursona, my creation of six years of creative thought.

Rob was born Robert Joseph Barion on July 26, 1982, fifteen minutes after the birth of his twin brother Jake. Being a wolf-malamute hybrid, Rob is of a mixed background, his father being of Polish-American background and his mother a North Korean refugee from Pyongyang.

Sickly as a child, Rob never blossomed out to be the social butterfly that his brother was, instead a reserved, shy, awkward child who was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome as a young kid. Bullied throughout his life and dealing with a dysfunctional family brought on by his father's horrific injuries sustained at his workplace only further muted young Rob, sowing the seeds of what he would become.

At the age of sixteen, Rob was accidentally outed by his school counselor, resulting in him being thrown out of his own home because of his sexual orientation. To help numb the pain was his first love, the high school quarterback C.J Johnson who took him in with his family until Rob was nearly killed in a gay bashing barely one year later that left him in a coma from November 1999 until January 2001.

His face permanently disfigured and scarred up from the attack, Rob gradually in time developed his explosive temper and general lack of trust in people from all the events in his recovery, generally resulting in a mute looking, unemotional man who coldly conducts his business without a care of what anybody thinks.
