Aaand here we are, with June's Patreon piece all finished up! I'm so, so happy to finally be feeling well enough for work again; I may not be 100% just yet, but I still managed to knock this piece out yesterday! I've been wanting to do some Pokemon fanart for a long time now, and Mewtwo won my heart over way back in Gen I, even before I saw the first movie as a kid. It was absolutely a pleasure to get to paint him through my own perceptive lens, too. I wanted to pay as much respect to the original design as possible while putting a personal slant on things, and I did it well enough to feel satisfied, I think!
My Patreon account ( http://www.patreon.com/Hanmonster ) has really been a neat opportunity to do a little personally fulfilling work every month and I am so very thankful to my donators, too. I'll be doing a 'shiny' version of this guy that's Patreon-only later today with some color tweaking and extra sparkles. Gonna be fun stuff! :D
And hey, just think of it this way; if there's some great cosmic purpose for each of your lives, that's wonderful! If not, you can still make our own path, and it is absolutely a beautiful thing. We may not have a lot of certainty in this life, but each of you is still unique, and entirely incredible, and absolutely, irreplaceably precious. You are made of dreams and imagination and the gutted remnants of star stuff from a dizzyingly endless cosmos and there is nothing more amazing or sobering.

Oh, holy shit, I can't believe you just referenced that. Wow does the internet suddenly feel small all of a sudden.
If that shop was a place called Steamworks roughly 7 years ago, then the resemblance might make sense, because I was the one to actually draw that character for her. Hell, I may still even have that old image archived on an external drive somewhere.

Yes, It was Steamworks.. Ive been wanting to try and see if anyone wanted to get back in to it.

It has been quite a long time-- and something like that sounds right, yep! I don't really have the time for any shop activity any more (I don't really have any presence on Gaia these days either), but I'll always remember my Steamworks days fondly as the place I got to know my dear friend Pach and have a fun romp in the roleplaying/digital art sandbox. I don't know if I could advocate any kind of shop using Torren/Dave's lines anymore though if they're not around for anything new (even though they were free to use at the time I think it skirts potentially uncouth etiquette in their absence for a revamp), but I'm sure you could get a nice spiritual successor going with some effort and new templates. Best of luck with it, man!

Oh noes, I didn't mean to use and remake/revamp the shop.
Dave/Torren, I would have just loved that the shop stayed alive-
When it was still 'open' I opened free custom characters like thoughs wanting SoA remade in to the cat specie etc.
Stuff like that but the thread got too old and you can no longer post so ... now it is just a beautiful memory...
Looking back at the thread and just smiling. It was an amazing shop.. Filled with amazing community.
