Yeah, I am doing things again I know nothing about. xD A friend of mine was visiting and we were like "Ok, lets make some Acid track!"... Won't win a prize in that genre but I am overall happy with how it turned out!
Next song will hopefully be some industrial stuff again.

I work in software only with "Reason" from Propellerhead. The Software models synths not only in function but also in look and use. You actually plug cables around different devices. Works pretty well for me. I use most of the Synths (they work pretty much like VST's) that came with Reason, but for this one I got a synth called "ABL2 Bass Synthesizer", which pretty much is a 303. I also use Audacity to preprocess vocals and samples and a midi keyboard to test melodies and the like.

Propeller head Yeah I am aware of it. Have you ever tried Rewire with Rebirth RB-338 from Propellerhead?
O.o Although I can say noone successfully re-created the 303, propellerhead is close to the feel of it.
Major differences. Highest length note is a whole note. RB-338 can hold for much much longer.
Also Triplets <.< which everyone forgets!
Though other than the famous 303 sounds it comes with the 808 and 909 drums. Though the sounds are a bit higher or lower than the real thing.
I compared the real to Propellerhead's and It is quite intresting!. I love the feel of Propellerhead because it tries to match the feel of synths! I used it for a while in my music but moved on to real synths when I saved up enough for them.
I am going to keep my eyes on you and hope to hear more acid tracks =D! Love them 303's!
