A piece inspired by the art and song used in this video. Leon and I both loved the picture used, and we both liked the idea of using the pose and style of that picture to create this piece of Leon and Maria and Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye respectively. The song has great meaning for us, because it represents easily how we feel about eachother. Whenever one of us is down, the other will be there with comforting words and a shoulder to lean on. We'll make it through together. <3
I really enjoyed working on this piece, because not only was it rather simple, but it gave me the opportunity to experiment with different brushes and layer styles. I ended up using a lot of color burn and color dodge, which to be honest, is something I've never bothered to experiment with. This piece was definitely a learning experience.
