The Australian Cattle Dog, more commonly known in these parts as a Cow Dog, is a dedicated herding dog brought along to keep the herd in line and safe. Looks like this little lady is making sure her man can't run off in a traditionally Texas way.

The term "Aussie" usually refer to the Australian Shepherd, not the Australian Cattle Dog. Terms you hear for the ACD are Cattle Dog, Cow Dog, Heeler. :D
Not to nitpick XD And ACDs are mouthy little bossybees. Which is awesome, since those sturdy, stocky dogs need to tell cattle what to do!
They are also super crazy, like most herding breeds, and very independent.
