This is the original design of the creature that would become my gryphon fursona. The concept was an intelligent, world dominant species that can function in the sea, land, or sky. The skin was covered in a very fine fur and body is streamlined; no external structures other than the wings and limbs. The design is over 10 years old, but I kept the color scheme and the head shape when I made my gryphon character.
