OKAY ANYWAY.
I would make a journalbit for this, but I figure one less journal to throw out into my watcher's notifications, the better. So I'm waiting on journalstuffs until after I'm actually OPENING these babies.
I currently have 5 digital commission and 2 traditional commissions left in my queue before I'd be comfortable with reopening. Due to events this week and whatnot, I debated waiting a while until I opening again but turns out something's come up! And I kinda have to open for commissions again 8D;;
SO HERE'S THE SKINNY THROWDOWN BUSINESS AND ALL THAT JAZZ:
1. I plan on finishing the last commissions I have in the next two days
2. Depending on when these commissions are finished, the reopening date for new commissions can be any date out of the following: Tuesday, June 24th- Wednesday, June 25th, or Thursday, June 26th.
3. I won't be limiting slots this time around
4. I plan on responding to any&all notes and comments sent to me immediately after finishing the last commission & before announcing my commission reopening (This way anyone who may be still interested in something from me will get put on the list and not have to resend any information)
5. And here's the good(ish) news, everyone! /Professor Farnsworth
The reason I'm reopening so soon after clearing out my slotlist is because of an upcoming trip! You probably all know about my Savannah obsession and can guess at how desperate I am to live there.
Well, a great friend of mine who has never been is going with me July 17th-July 20th so she can see the city. I've asked her if she would be interested in moving there with me and she answered enthusiastically, so I'm hoping this trip will help charm and or convince her 100%.
Meaning- All funds I get from this new commission reopening will go towards making this trip happen, which will hopefully lead to us moving there.
THIS IS IN NO WAY AN EMERGENCY COMMISSION DRIVE or anything like that 8D;; This trip may FEEL like lifeordeath for me, but it's just one of those 'life goal in progress' kinda things and I will be SUPER appreciative of any work you guys give me <3
6. ADDED BONUS YE:
In the event that I make enough to go on this trip, I will be CLOSING commissions on July 13th and once I'm back on July 21st I'll randomly draw three names from the previous pool of commissioners and those three users will each get a free colored waist-up sketch of their liking- as a token of my appreciation

But ye, TL;DR:
✰ I will be finishing the last 7 commissions I have in the next 2 days
✰ I will be responding to notes/comments after ^
✰ I will be reopening commissions sometime between Tuesday and Thursday and there will be NO SLOT LIMITS but commissions will only stay open until July 13th
✰ All funds from this commission opening will go towards a Savannah trip with my friend, who may move there with me if she likes the city. (A-AND THAT'S MY DREAM COME TRUE JUSTSAYIN.)
✰ If I make enough to go with her to Savannah, I'll hold a raffle drawing for three free colored waistup sketches from the list of commissioners on July 21st.

hope you're able to attain your goal and move to Savannah hun ^^ have an uncle who lives outside of Atlanta, and he's been to Savannah multiple times, says it's a gorgeous city (better than the congestion that is Atlanta anyway x3)

Savannah is indeed a nice place. I'd be pretty thrilled to get some more artstuffs from you, so I'll be keeping an eye out for that journal.
and um maybe since i live like 20 minutes away from savannah if you do make it down here i could say hey at some point or something fffgh.

Savannah is like medicine for my soul. I feel like I can't breathe when I'm not there, but hopefully this trip can get the ball rolling in that direction!
And awe jeez I'm down to say hey to people! I already know that I might be hitting up two lovely ladies down in the Savs- I can't know if I'll have time THIS trip- but if not another trip, then when I live there I eat all the time and maybe you can meet me and whoever I'm chillin' with for some cinnabun or city market eats 8D

Also a guess at who's visiting with you because she mentioned it at one point or another to me but did not say it was Savannah she'd be visiting - is it Coffee? :O

Yeah, I remember hearing Jams and co lived near... Mmmmmaaaacon? One of those areas nearish Atlanta. Or something. To be honest Coffee's really the only one of that bunch I know particularly well so I didn't keep tabs on where the rest lived because that would be extremely creepy and I try not to be if I can help it.
And okay, yeah, that makes sense. Was just curious because Coffee had told me about her plans to head down here near August, and I'd planned on driving up to chill with her while she was visiting. I actually wanted to go to FWA earlier this year, but couldn't make it because of school crap. :/

M-MAN I TRIED D8 That scootybooty baby is bein' all responsible and other ridiculous stuff so she doesn't know if she's still gonna move to the Savs. (Although I really wish she would so I could turn her into a lap pet and spoil her with grilled cheese and steal her from Nuts ohhohoho)
