BACKLOG SUBMISSION. COMPLETED SEPTEMBER 28, 2007.

Based loosely off one of our QH studs, Leo. I had a poor reference, so I stopped looking once I got past the sketch, and then I got a bit carried away.

Nah, I do everything in Photoshop, even the sketchwork. ^^ It's so much easier to fix mistakes digitally than with an eraser; I'm a lazy bum. XD

Oh...My...Goodness! That is absolutely fabulous! I've been drawing equines for years and still cannot capture anywhere near the detail and lifelike features like you have in this piece! This is amazing, especially those gorgeous eyes! Immaculate!

This is beautiful. It's very refreshing to find an equine artist on here who knows their stuff. (I guess you would if you're studying to be a large animal vet.)
Horses make such wonderful subjects in art. Keep up the good work!

Good lord! That's nothing short of amazing. I've been browsing equine art ever since I've had Net access and I can't remember seeing such detail in a very long time. Splendid work!
