Aww. I really like this! My Tennessee walker saw snow for the first time this winter, and she didn't know what to think about it. It rarely snows here and then one morning it just really came down and she was having a blast with it, it seemed. My mini had seen it before I think and was just looking at Destiny(twh), like "....you're an idiot". Awesome work on this. Where are you going to school for Large animal veterinary by the way. I live right down the street from the Auburn University large animal vet school.
First time snow experiences are always fun. XD I hauled Dude up from Texas when my trainer first got him, but his first time in the snow was rather sloppy and muddy (he was in a gross little pen back then cause my barn manager wouldn't let us turn the studs out in pastures), so he was more disgruntled than enthralled, unfortunately. >_>;
And I'm going to the University of Missouri in Columbia ("Mizzou")'s veterinary college. :3

Horses are a trip all around. They'll take the simplest thing and make it interesting, lol.
That's really cool about your career path. When I was growing up, that what I wanted to do, be a large animal(horse specifically) vet, but it never came to pass, unfortunately.
How many years are you in?

That's a more complicated question than you'd think. XD I'm in my third year of college, so I still haven't even gotten my undergrad, but I'm working towards a graduate degree at the same time. I got an early admission to the vet school (having completed my 100+ required hours of vet work and shadowing prior to college), so I started taking classes for the degree last year while still working towards my undergrad degree in agriculture and animal science. So technically I'm a junior undergrad, first year vet student. I confuse myself sometimes. X'D
lol. I understand how that can be. I got to talking with some of the students at the school here when I had to take my miniature horse in there for a couple of weeks of treatment by their hospital(bad case of colitis. cost me about $3k), and they were telling me just how much schooling is involved. Some of them had been in school for over 6 years.....that's a lotta schooling.
I admire your choice in careers though, and I'm sure you'll make a great vet! That's really cool how you were able to get a leg up on things by taking care of some of it early.
