I drew this like a week and a half ago, after listening to that one really catchy techno song about sonic (i forgot what it's called).
but yeah, i wasnt really taking this seriously, i dont even like sonic. As you can see, i had some fun with it, making him a little less cartoony and a bit more muscular, to creepy--almost frightening--results. that's more fun than doing the typical stylized sonic, for me anyway.

I like this version of sonic. I think by doing sonic like this your showing your own style ^_^. from what i have seen from most artists when they draw their favorite they try and copy the original style. i actully like this style alot and wish i saw it in the video games. makes him look older and more mature since sonic has been around since i was a kitten.
