Hey there everybody, still on the strip, still sick, and still miserable... but hey! Art!
Anyway been meaning to do this for a while and something upcoming I have planned (no spoilers on WHAT yet) finally motivated me to get around to it. This is an updated/revised profile shot of my character June Presto the Samurai-Wanna-Be Jynx.

Anyway along with the full body pic, showing how she looks with her hair down, and a relative size chart I also decided to do a write up about some info on her... hope you enjoy reading it.
Family
- Merlin Presto is June's father, an alakazam, and a pro-battler in one of the small minor leagues in Viridian. He's a friendly good natured moon with a laid-back attitude who loves his daughter dearly but didn't get to spend as much time as he wanted with her. he finds June's samurai obsession and battle style choices amusing and encourages her to find her own path. He's currently dealing with a possible transfer to a large local league that'd mean more money for his family.
- Martha Presto is June's mother, a jinx, a housewife, and a traditionalist who constantly butts heads with her daughter. She doesn't understand June's samurai obsession or insistence on trying to hide her beauty AND she's perplexed by June's insistence on NOT relying on the traditional moves of their species. Despite this she deeply loves her daughter and tries to be supportive for her. She has had history in the leagues before she married, but prefers not to talk about it.
- June has relatives on both sides of her family in aunts, uncles, and grandparents but she doesn't actually KNOW much about them since they live in out countries/continents. She DOES know her family apparently has a surprising/weird tendency to ignore breeding groups when it come to relationships (her father being a notable exception) and still somehow have kids… she finds this rather disturbing and would just as soon not dig any deeper.
Physical Appearance
- June is surprisingly well built with exceptionally large chest, hips, and butt on a strong frame that leaves her firmly in the "Sexy Babe" category… if she wasn't deeply ashamed of these traits.
- June has given up trying to hide her large breast after trying Rose's trick of wearing a size or two smaller bra or even chest wrapping… she opts instead to wear something loose enough to make it hard for people to figure out how big her chest is.
- The hakama she wears with her samurai outfit also helps hide her impressive child-bearing hips and nicely curved bottom, and she tends to insist on wearing loose enough clothes to keep these hidden even when out of her samurai costume
- June has incredibly long and silky hair that reaches down all the way to her hips, sways with every motion… and completely gets in the way. This is the main reason she keeps it up and out of the way in a samurai ponytail. It unfortunately grows too fast to keep it cut shorter then "Extremely Long"
- June actually takes after her mom in most of these traits including being exceptionally tall. June is expected to gain a few more inches before she stops growing as well but she doesn't care quiet as much about being tall as she does about her other physical features.
- All around June is incredibly beautiful… and hates her looks utterly. Because of this most attempts to compliment her looks will only be met with icy glares… no pun intended.

Fighting Style
- June absolutely REFUSES to use any kiss based move, she also refuses to use the traditional, special attack dependent style most jinx use. Because of this her battle record has been spotty and she's been talked to by a few counselors about her style choices. She's adamant about sticking to her choices though.
- June uses Ice Punch as an excuse to form various weapons out of ice (mostly weapons used by samurai) that are all blunt and end up being used for most of her psychical attacks.
- Has a beautiful singing voice which is completely at odds with the persona she tries to portray… but it was that move or a kiss move so she opted for sing, using Dream Eater or Wake-Up Slap with it.
- After much prodding June opted to learn Hail & Blizzard but prefers to use the later only if she's DESPERATELY in a pinch since she feels like it's cheating her self made style.
- Was forced to try and learn several support moves to try an improve her record for her senior move set to get the teachers off her back and is trying to make the most of it. Though she is finding Trick Room to be useful to stop those bastards who keep running rings around her… when she manages to get the move right anyway.
Rose
- June met Rose in 1st grade when they ended up stuck together in line due to being some of the tallest girls in class. The fact they both hated bullies and were quick to strike back when pushed helped them bond quickly
- Till about 4th grade the girls had very similar personalities, being eager, cheerful, and rather bouncy (Rose had decided to base herself off of Magical girls by now) but this changed for June when she ended up using her allowance on a whim at an old theater that was showing badly dubbed samurai movies… it was love at first sight for the little smoochum as she set out to immolate the stoic, strong characters she saw on the screen.
- June and Rose continued to be friends through grade school, dealing with the pains of developing early together though Rose wasn't as bothered as June was by it, and Rose happened to be around to help celebrate June's evolution into a jinx… shortly before the kangaskhan was forcibly shipped off by her mom to a finishing school leaving June best friendless.
- The two managed to barely (due to the finishing schools strike rules and amount of restrictions that were placed on Rose due to non conformance) stay in contact for the four or so years Rose were away with letters as June was sure to let her best friend know about her rocky, but happy, time at the PCA.
- Now that Rose is finally back in Viridian the two girls are catching up on old time and trying to make new ones.
Petie
- June has always had a soft spot for kids, the younger and more innocent the better, though she isn't sure why… might be because they're too young and innocent to comment on her looks, outfit, or anything. Because of this she immediately warmed up to Petie when introduced to Rose's baby stepbrother.
- She finds Petie needing diapers odd, but must admit he looks adorable in them. She had Rose teach her how to change the diapers just in case he needs a change while they hang out.
- Though June would never admit it she loves how easily awed Petie is by her style and ice made weaponry. She always welcomes him if he wants to watch her practice and train.
- She also likes using Petie for a "Lone Wolf & Cub" cosplay she does which includes an wooden baby carriage she had a friend make.
Anyway for those of you you are still around after reading that long bit of info dumb (or even those of you who just skipped ahead) I'm also opening a bit of a Q & A here too! =D Feel free to ask June whatever you'd like, within reason, and she'll answer your questions... or smack you. Funny that she tries to suppress any and all feminine traits... samurai were poets, artists and even lovers as well as peerless fighting-men.
And she might consider also a ranged Ice or Psychic-type move... everybody thinks that samurai were swordsmen and nothing else, but the fact is they were horse-archers before the katana was even invented. So I'd recommend Ice Beam or Psybeam that would take the form of a "yumiya," or bow and arrow.

I see... so her knowledge of samurai comes not from history, but the "chanbara" films of Akira Kurosawa and the Western distillations of various samurai tropes.

Well it's more that was what she based herself on and spent so long developing till early highschool when she got curious about the actual samurai and started researching... by then she decided she'd gone far enough she wasn't up to change and wanted to stick to her own path/code/whatever she calls it at the moment...

Onto June, seeing her again made me want to draw my own headstrong ladies, a good thing since I bet both Wilma and Alex would make for interesting encounters.
