I have a soft spot for this weapon. Way back in grade school, the teacher pulled a nonsense phrase out of his head and told the students (myself included) to draw it.

The nonsense phrase was "a Hotchkiss with a donkey tail."

I did a bit of reading, and drew the anti-tank gun, with a donkey's tail hanging from the breech.

I got a point for it (the assignment was for extra credit).
