My part of an arttrade with

Looks like Dustin found himself in quite the sticky situation.. ahaha..

Anyway. We talked a lot about maneating plants but with sticky goo (not the sunddewlike goo, okay? xD) where you get stuck.
So I came up with this design. It looks like bubblegum! Probably smells like it too! Eh anyway.
I chose a more pitcher-plant-like design because.. why not. The goo seems to let you sink in.. slooooowly.. untillyoudieandgetdigested.. something like that.
Seems as the goo is bioluminous and isn't just there for digesting prey, but to lure it in as well. So Dustin is the perfect prey, poor guy.
.. and.. the moving lights.. I was thinking.. maybe that they are some kind of fairies or bugs.. that are kinda.. spiteful xD (in Stratok are a lot of spiteful creatures, so if this plays in Stratok.. well yeah.. what a place)
