The artist of this is 
kawauso98!!! He did this for me out the kindness of his heart. He was also a big supporter of Alley having hooves, a stylistic choice that wasn't concrete yet.
I regularly enjoy getting funky with my bass. In reality, it's a 5-string Fender J-Bass. But I do love me a wood-finished bass like the one depicted here. Alley himself also looks awesome in this style. It just looks right.
