Feeling depressed again, so I had to stop all work and do this speed painting of Pinky Pie and Fluttershy just having a good time.
I don't really understand why, but I just get into these moods where I feel like crap and nothing really matters. Or that I have no really purpose on this earth. I have suffered from depression in the past and I have recovered from that, but I still have these really bad moments where things are all just doom and glum. Today it just got really bad... I started to feel physically ill and just didn't want to talk to anyone or anything, but after this painting I am feeling a lot better. I actual started to cry once this was finished. I'm not sure why, but it was a nice relief to do this. It felt pretty amazing.
I can't really tell if I like Pinky Pie or not... She's a strange character... Maybe I will watch more episodes with her in it and find out... Yeah that sounds like a nice end for to the night.
I'm sorry I keep getting all sad like this and ranting about it to you guys, but at lest you get some art from it all?

Pinkie is my favorite, she can be annoying sometimes, but when she has her own episode they become one of my top favorite episode. I love her singing and upbeat attitude, and when I see her sad, it breaks my heart :(

I dont think I have seen any of those videos about her yet. There is a lot to analyze about her. I think I like her though. I mean I dont find her that annoying. I think my issue is the writers seam to force weird jokes out of her and they dont always work. But when I really think about it I find that I dont actualy dislike her at all, and she works pretty well for the most part.
Honestly out of the millions and billions in this world, life is only what you make it. Find your own inner purpose and drive to what you enjoy and what makes you happy. There is no definitive "purpose" to it all, unfortunately, or easy answer. Dealing with multiple near self-inflicted losses on my own end and others...the only solace I can give from experience is to find that cheesy universal sense of peace. Pursue your life goals to the fullest no matter what.

I always want to chat about these things, but I know they come and go. So I hate bugging ya with my silly emotions all the time when I know it will just pass. Next time if it gets that bad again I will shoot you a line. I'm still trying to figure out my purpose, but I do have my goals of what I want it to be.

Awww, cute ponies! If anyone could make a shy pony like Fluttershy come out and dance at a party, Pinkie would probably be the one. :3
Mmm, it's unfortunate that you're feeling sad again, though. I've been in those moods too before, and lately has been no different. I also was depressed in the past and got over it, buuut... Those things seem to just come back some days. I can understand how you felt better after finishing this picture. The few times I find the motivation to draw while feeling desolate, completing something good makes all the difference in the world.
As for that pink party pony, though, I've got mixed feelings about her as well. I like Pinkie whenever she's not breaking the fourth wall, as she's a bit annoying whenever she does behave like that.
Hopefully some day those moods won't be around anymore for you. I know they're not fun.
