it's not common knowledge, but a very important drawing advice. you have to try to fix mistakes while it's flipped, then flip back. some drawings, like photos, work only one way and will look strange while flipped (learned that stuff about photos in university), so you don't have to reach perfection, just use that trick to see mistakes that you overlooked
