I just brought Balto into my home. He is an amazing lupine. I have been around wolves for over 23 years now and I have never met a wolf like him before. He is the sweetest and most cuddly wolf I have ever met. He loves to be hugged and cuddled. He snuggles up next to me in bed at night and nuzzles me softly and sweetly awake in the morning. He is like a big black wolf plushie. I love him so. He is small for a male at about 70 pounds but has the biggest heart. He is a black phase wolf with a white blaze on his chest and white toes on all four paws. I am beside myself in joy to have him as my companion.

He's probably 3 years old. Just very small for a wolf. I had a litter of cubs several years ago that were purebred's and 3 of them looked exactly like him and were his size as well. I am very suspicious that he may very well be related to that litter some how. See the photo of my poor cub named Koshata. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11537205/

And you know what? He looks a lot like the real Balto. I mean, at first i thought: "Wow, i never saw that pic of Balto. Must be a new one." But then i was: "Wait, that is not the real Balto, thats a Wolf that looks a lot like him. Just the fore paws are a bit more black, but besides that..."
