Born to hunter-trapper parents, the two wizard brothers Rhyme and Reason grew up on a farmstead learning how to properly track, hunt and handle rifles from a young age. While Reason excelled at this, Rhyme always seemed to be a few steps behind, preferring the sound of music over the sound of gunfire. Reason's latent knack for summoning and trapping magic allowed him to easily and dutifully to follow in his father's footsteps. Rhyme instead chose to leave that life behind and follow his heart, developing his magics into charms and enchantments and becoming a talented bard with dreams of playing to an audience of royalty in their glittering imperial palaces. They often butt heads due to their contrasting natures; Reason is organized and calculated, while his brother Rhyme is a lackadaisical creature given to flights of fancy.
