Yes I suspect she has been in there multiple times, Broken bones and the Like. this would happen to a kid who was on a Company station who had no parents and a Ward of the State. The guy in the back is the Officer assigned to her and the staff see her too often. Always getting into trouble on the station by going into Dangerous Arias like Junction points and Cargo Pods.( to send here back to there Home World would be too expensive so she stays there on the station in one room with other Kids who have parents who are on shift.)

More likely a matter of class prejudice, she being of the underclass and female doing Things She Shouldn't (as well as likely criminal). And more likely under arrest, that's not a comm or tazer he has his hand on.
