Here's Iris when she uses a chaos emerald. Touching it sends a shock through her fingers...using it and hold it is a different story~

The power adds to her own manipulative power and quadruples it....though the effects are a bit devastating on the body and mind. Using the chaos emerald drains her of all her power and she usually passes out each time she finishes using it. Then after she has to spend a week to recover her silver manipulation abilities.
