They certainly have a musk! But nothing I've found to be outright stinky except for their poops (those are hecka ewwie) /x\
But you can give them a bath bi-weekly or monthly to tone down the odor! You can even buy like ferret "perfume" of sorts if their smell is found to be really bothersome~
Most domestic ferrets for sale though are fixed and de-scented, mine both are !
