Red Orchastra is a WWII game with Germans VS Russian so the Iron Cross is German and the Red Star is russian.

Most friendly fire issues i heard of that happened in real life are usually the cause of bad communication

You'd be surprised what a combo of several inches of steel and sloped armor can do, and tanks during WWII would usually fire AP rounds instead of HE which were meant for unarmored targets and if you aim at the wrong spot in Red Orchastra your shot will be deflected.

im not a ww2 nerd, but wouldnt the shell desintergrate?, or wouldnt it just slice directly upwards?
i have no clue cause i perfer the current and classified stuff.

I know very lil or pretty much bits of history after WWII but present day, military use those special SABOT rounds or highly modified AP rounds or what ever lol
And technology has changed dramatically since WWII til now
But back then it was basically a shoot and hope it penetrates the targets armor or it will bounce off the target's

Maybe I should add, the tank with the blue dragon commander is about half the size of that russian tank and the gun nearly half the size of the russian tank as well, that may help a lil lol

todays tanks are made of depleted uranium and steel. and the explosive rounds are so powerful that i dont think they even use ap shells anymore. but now its all about unmanned and stealth so pretty soon, you wont even have to pull a trigger. jut set it to "on"

Only two tanks are made from DU, and DU isn't going to stop modern RPG or tanks rounds anymore. They use AP shells, HE shells, HEAT shells, smoke shells, and the newest and greatest the Armour-piercing discarding sabot shell. All can still be deflected, except the HEAT is used on lower armored targets and can't because it detonates on impact to anything. The APDS shell is rarely deflected due to the speed it's traveling compared to its size, but it still can be.

... and that was how sloped armor was invented.

And yet i still play with the German Tiger tank and it's flat armor XD
