It's actually a comic by Wendy and Richard Pini that started in the seventies. You can read it online now starting at the "Original Quest" http://www.elfquest.com/gallery/OnlineComics3.html I collect the hard copies of it. It was one of my major interests for years. The skirt and hair is what made me think of her :>

I've read this one, yes, some years ago. A wonderful thing! It's really amazing how they describe things, strange to mopdern people, but so essential and natural to a total different race.
And I see something Leetish here too, if looking harder) Mayde it is because of her skirt?

Yeah, maybe, it is close to it in the feel of the lightness of the fabric, but not in design really. I think the hair was a major one too, with the wild curl. It just had that feel when I saw it, even though it isn't super related at all. Has that passion though.

Elfquest is super neat, I was reading it pretty early in my childhood, and often wasn't allowed to share my collection with my classmates because of the nudity and violence, but it is very natural and well done for what elves are like.

Yeah, while reading, you don't consider their nudity, or anything else as wrong or bad.
