anyway. onto the story.

The three had found the weird looking radio at a garage sale, Torque found it to be rather enticing what with how the lava lamp part flowed up and down, it was so relaxing. They decided to take it home with them, after all, radios are slowly starting to lose their use. by the time they arrived home, Silver and cai were eager to see how the radio worked. but when they turned it on.... instead of broadcasting the local radio channels like it was supposed to do, it made a low humming sound. a hum that reminded them of a transformer coil only...much more relaxing. Silver sat back and relaxed as she stared at the radio, cai and torque started to relax as well... Cai felt something was wrong. but the more he tried to resist, the more he couldn't help but stare at it. before they know it, an hour had passed. The radio opened up its side and pair of tiny robotic spiders came out to crawl up cai and torque.. buzzing a tiny laser into their chests to match the logo of the machine's true owner. the silent messages, broadcasting into their heads now... so relaxed and blissful that they couldn't help but listen. voices, commands.. words filling their heads effortlessly as the machine rewrote everything about them... their purpose.. their desires.. they were prey to the machine. Silver stood and smiled, already complete as she began to walk off with a blank stare and a grin frozen on her face. preparing the house for the radio's....her... owners it wasn't long before torque and cai did the same.. standing at the front door's sides... waiting for whomever will walk through that door to take them, and the radio away forever.
