they are literally Star Children. born of a possible phenomena throughout the universe they reside within. As a crystalline structured stone moves throughout a star's core they gain something of a base consciousness and in a self preserving manner figure out how to stay at the surface of a star and they are ejected from the star in a solar flare or other similar event.

they are beings made up of Plasma (fourth state of matter. Ionize naturally positively charged) constituted around their Crystalline stone skeleton which is a lose collection of stones that can peak through to show outwardly. their heart is much like the core of a star and cycles the matter through their body. They can shift shape, adjust temperature grow and shrink. Can even form sort of skin around themselves to serve as a disguise. The full extent to which they can control their own body is not fully known. More mature Star Children exhibit more control however. Their shape, and appearance are a reflection of their state of mind and where they have been brought up. Less mature ones appear younger no matter the actual age. still unknown how they reproduce once born.

They live for an indefinite amount of time, but are not invulnerable. they can go out from not having the matter to fuel their fusion and other disruptive means to their anatomy. They have no inherent home as they are more of an event that happens thorough the galaxy. there are more concentrations in some parts than in others. their existence has lead to the invention of containment suits for the less matured ones int he more populated areas
