[LORE and STORY ahead! Turn back now if you hate that stuff! Ye Be Warned!]
Viviane is Max's, or now Maxine's, sister. They often didn't talk much to each other, her being bit adventurous and Max being a bit timid in life. Viviane went on after college to become an amateur ghost hunter, taking studies and trying to find the existence of ghosts or spirits or anything paranormal. While her work has never turned up anything, save for a few odd voices or blurry photos, she remains a strong believer.
Max only recently contacted her again, raving about slime monsters changing people in the town. Viviane would have just rolled her eyes normally, thinking her little brother was making fun of her profession again until he asked her to come up. She finally said she would, but after her next job. After finishing her latest haunted house exploration, she travels to the college town to meet her brother. She instead finds Maxine living where Max should be and doing Max's job at the restaurant. It doesn't take long to figure out Maxine was her brother changed into some gooey ice fox creature, and set out to find the masterminds behind this.
She eventually found Summer and Rose, confronting the girls at their apartment and threatening to call the police. After calling Maxine in, they managed to calm her down and explain what exactly happened and how most of the transformations were accidents. And Maxine explained how she was happier now and not as stressed as she was before.
Once the accusations were cleared up, Viviane did what came naturally to her: She asked questions. This entire thing was too good for an investigator like herself to pass up, and eventually she decided she wanted to undergo the transformation herself. Summer, Rose, and Maxine tried to talk her out of it but she was firm in wanting to go through with it. And it would even let Rose get a live test of watching the transformation work and may give her clues to finding a cure to it. While the three were hesitant, they agreed because it was under Viviane's consent.
Rose mixed up a stronger batch of the slime than what the girls had doused with, something more akin to the original strength she believed the slime had before being diluted. Giving this to Viviane, she started to smear the slime on her arms and let it go to work as Rose observed and recorded the transformation. After a few minutes, the change finished and standing there grinning was a delphox slime girl.
Viviane admired her new body, in love with the coat like fur and large bushy tail. She also felt a bit more understanding in the mystical and spirits, but she couldn't exactly tell where that part came from. With her new body and form, she decided to move in with Maxine, and though Maxine may gripe about it she is happy her sister is with her and happy with her change.

That was a bug in Gen 1 games. Ghost types were suppose to be effective, but it wouldn't work. Only thing strong against Gen 1 psychic pokemon was bug type, and their most powerful move was Pin Missile at the time.
Generation Two and onward, they corrected that bug and ghost type attacks became a lot more effective against psychic types.

Sorry? All my characters all usually belong to a core world, which is usually centered around a theme. Superhero characters then to fall into the superhero realm, Sci-fi has their own as well as Fantasy. I do this to keep them organized as well prevent weird continuity errors for all the characters.
The pokegirls and others reside in well my casual or easy going world. It is about as realistic as a Saturday morning cartoon show, I did this so it remains lighthearted and it can both have dramatic and silly moments. Apologies if they are all the same or if there isn't enough conflict, most of my other characters tend to be either fighting to survive, fighting for their lives, or dealing with a sudden transformation and the dangerous outcomes to it.
For these girls? The TF is a simple jumping point and then straight to silly adventures. I'm sorry if there isn't any conflict, this is just how I written this series. Good friends having a good time.

I have been working on their personalities slowly, but surely. I do disagree with them being flat with little or no personality. Yes, they are same-y but that is different from being flat, mostly my fault to begin with since there are so many characters and so little character archetypes to draw upon. Given so many canvases to paint on, but only so many colors to use.
I do plan to do small comics or short stories of the girls at some point in the future. At the moment it's all set up, I'm sorry if it's not interesting or as dramatic as it could be. I tend to just write for myself, if someone likes what I wrote or the character then yay! Someone liked it! If they don't, eh oh well. I'll just keep going on, I'm not out to please anyone with my writings. I'm just writing for myself.

Okay? I wanted them to be slime girls. It was the theme I wanted. Mind you most of those girls can turn flesh and blood like normal people, but I know what you are getting at. :P
Honestly, I don't know what you want me to do. Change all my characters? Why? I'm happy with how they are. If you aren't, I'm sorry. I'm just someone on the internet writing about characters I thought up and enjoy.

I have plenty of other characters who aren't slime, and admittedly the amount of characters I have is a bit much, I have two new (and last ones) right now. Adding more and more characters, either slime or not, will fix this problem. This is just how it is and how I'd like to continue. I'm sorry if you don't like that.
