I got this piece commissioned back in January. It was a very emotional time for me, for personal reasons. I would find myself laying in bed unable to sleep. So to help me rest, I would lay in bed with headphones on and listen to music to help me relax and calm my emotions. The song that was inspiring to me at the time was "Holocene" by Bon Iver

Whenever I am feeling down or lonely, I always try to calm my nerves by listening to calming music and reflecting on the good I have in life. I must say, I have come a long way since the beginning of 2014.
