A personal piece I whipped up quick the other day, another small badge of my Mightyena, Mighty! Based off a partial of the same design made by Neraya!
Hehe, she's so cute! I've been working on 'cartooning' my canines lately, and I'm pretty happy with how she turned out. Does anyone know what subspecies of hyena that mightyena is actually based off of? I feel kind of bad just giving her generic canine ears. XD

My guess is striped hyena, because of the face markings, ears and coloration. Could perhaps be a bit of brown hyena because of all the fluff, too.
One thing to note about hyena snouts, as opposed to most canine snouts, is that it is broader at the bottom and the lower part of the nostril wraps around the upper; a few canines have that as well, but it is much more distinct in the hyena, as seen here.
