Amazing work with the lighting as you always manage to do! It's even more challenging in color, but the speckling (and even little shines of highlighted metal) convey realistic, dynamic lighting. The colors are understated though, which makes this look even more like a scene from reality.
And lovely character design to top it all off :)

Hey man glad you like :-]! It's interesting you mention the colours as the intention was to keep this one a bit more subdued. I'd like to use more subtle colours in my images as a few of them have been a bit too vibrant, which was intentional at the time, but I'm not so sure now as it doesn't give me much room for contrast. Anyway, we'll see :]!
I love that though her arms are crossed, the claws are out. The pose, the posing, and the lighting, all speak volumes. A picture is truly worth 1,000 words, and then some. Worth far more words than that to the heart even. There is always details, little details so often missed, that render a reality to a piece, and make it seem inexplicably 'unreal' if they are missing. Inexplicable, in that its hard to put your finger on what is missing, in many of those pieces. But not in yours... The details are all there, and lend such a deep realism, that you can't help but be pulled in for a while.
