so i decided to share some of my leather crafting art that i have made. this is my leather tooled bio-hazard toilet seat.
i made this as a Christmas gift for my families Christmas game where we all make our gifts. this is a standard size wooden toilet seat with tooled and stained leather adhered and nailed to the lid.
Im in the plans of trying to do a YCH auction for anyone who wants their character tooled on their own wooden toilet seat.

O.O Impressive gallery and to be self-taught is awe-inspiring. I like how you made the chinks, Celtic sword and the saddlebags. I noticed the saddle sword. With your craftsmanship, I am surprised you have not tried to make a saddle yet.
Curious. What inspired you in wanting to work with leather and metal?

I learned to weld when I was 13 I think. Helping to weld up pipe fence around the house. So on occasion I would make metal worked items for fun and as gifts. Also made roping dummys and tried to sell them. So it was a skill I had developed for a while.
The saddle sword. I did not make the blade. Just the sheath so that I would have a mini machete for riding in thick woods.
The leather crafting came from an interest in repairing my horse tack. I one day bought the basic tool set and started playing around with leather. Fast foward 4 months and im on a road trip to pick up a horse trailer, so I stay a night at a friends house in KY and he has been crafting leather for many years. He showed me his shop and had me help him with a few things. Next thing I know he gives me all the leather pieces and hard wear to make my own chaps and chalanges me have them made in 4 month when we meet up. So I stopped as a leather store on the way home and bought a lot more tools and I got started making chaps and kept going.
