I adopted him from the humane society. No name yet.
He was found as a stray outside and I saw him while he was still unavailable. He became available today so I went and got him.
It took some coaxing to get him to step up, he flies like shit and does not understand what a wall is. His feathers are pretty shabby which I'm not surprised about from a bird who was found outside.
Now he's destressing in his cage watching everything right now.
(for record I now have 3 budgies and a cockatiel)

That poor thing :c. One time Oregano got outside for a good thirty minutes. I was so terrified for him but thankfully he couldn't fly at the time. I'm glad he's warming up to you though. Oregano loves to climb around the bars and watch me. He loves to sing at me if I feed him or open the door to his cage hehe.
What do the other birds think of him ? Have they heard him yet ?

They aren't replying to his chirps yet but I'm sure they will eventually start calling back to him.
There's an untame boy budgie there too, if he isn't claimed by payday I'm dropping the $15 to adopt him and I'll add him to my flock of untame budgies. They're a flock bird so him being all alone makes me pretty sad, he will even out my budgie flock.

Yea I am going to probably clip this bird so I can hand tame him, this guy hits walls too and I don't want him to get hurt. My budgies aren't clipped and they're not tame but they're good at flight. I need to get a net and a door so they can fly free but are easy to catch quickly when free range time is over. The need for a door is to keep the cat out of my room while they're out.
