Also interesting trivia... both of Ariel's parents, Triton and Athena, were Ruby Red-heads in their youth, and Ariel looks almost exactly like her mother, Athena. However, in spite of the red-headed genetics of the family, they managed to breed hair colors from platinum blonde to jet black.
