I was reading up a little more, and it says usually only females grow to four and a half feet, which was how long it was when I measured him! So he's probably a she. :3

Oh! I love snakes! He looks so pretty, like how random snakes can be. Never know what the heck they're doing. xD

I found that females tend to be friendlier too. My girl is also super sweet.

If you are gonna keep her long term, I buy my rats (much better nutrition than mice!) online from LayneLabs.com and they are much better priced than PetCo! In case you didn't already know. :)

I get my mice from an exotic pet store!!! I don't trust Petco mice. ;3;!'

I had the same kind of snake, she was very beautiful and my dad named her Veronica.
Sadly she passed away in 2006, my dad was careless and had a blanket over her tank while it was a hot summer day and the window was now open...so she suffocated. I was very angry with my dad, wish I took her with me but mom didn't allow it >>

She was very gentle and also loved to watch tv with me when I had her around my neck, and totally loved being outside going on truck rides...and scaring the people when dad made his stops. It's funny to see confused people when they see this snake hanging on a rear view mirror.
