So I'm kind of a derp and totally thought I had uploaded these month ago so they are way over due. This is 1 of a few photos taken at the Donner pass memorial on the way back from BLFC. This of course was another must take photo. The sign posted in the back (which I'll post a link to later) says the top of the pillar which the statues rest upon is how deep (22 feet) the snow was when the donner party got snowed into the pass.
