Here's the cover illustration for Furries Furever, the third and newest title in my Draw Furries how-to book series! For this book, I teamed up with seven really awesome artists to cover a broad variety of styles and techniques.
Each artist was given their own chapter to showcase their art, and talk about their tools and techniques for creating, drawing, and coloring, step-by-step, anthropomorphic characters.
For the cover, I based the characters on designs by each of the artists in the book (reinterpreted in my style). Trying to fit that many characters on the cover was a challenge, but it was so fun to draw everyone’s characters. From front to back:

Notes about the cover art - it's the first large illustration I tackled from start to finish on my Cintiq Companion. I used to do line art traditionally with pencil, but this was drawn entirely in Clip Paint Studio (and colored in Adobe Photoshop CS3).
