While Dash and I slept in our beds after the Lightning Lantern Festival, link Applebloom was having her knowledge of the dream realm expanded, and Princess Luna was learning a little about what it is like to be a parent.

As part of Applebloom’s ongoing education into the wonders and perils of dream realm Luna has begun showing her some many beings that call it their home. Since littlest of the Apple family is still very inexperienced the Princess of the Night wisely decided to show the little filly one of the most docile and gentle beings of that strange, and wondrous place, the Dream Doves. Gentle and completely harmless they are the perfect creatures for newcomers first encounter.

However in the process Luna is discovering that her pupil is that age where she’s observing and noticing more of what is going around her but she still does not fully understand all the implications of what she sees.

Luna immediately recognized the garment Applebloom was wearing because Petina gave her one a while back. link At the time Luna did not grasp some of the overt undertones of the garment. However now she has much understand of what makes Petina tick and Luna was rather alarmed to see her student create an iconic dream artifact of the same item during this lesson.

Luna is slowly beginning to realize that she definitely she needs to keep a closer eye on Petina. Whether intentionally or not that little white unicorn mare is starting to have a noticeable impact on Ponyville and the world around her.
