Yeah, FA has very poor text handling code. For the bold, you can use the same tags as you would in comments [ b ] without the spaces and such. For the special characters, you need to make sure your file is saved using the UTF-8 character encoding. There's an option to do this in the "save as" box of windows notepad, and probably somewhere in most other text apps.
