I've still not seen Trigun, but I think I probably should. After Kane was drawn as Vash from the same show, someone suggested Wolfwood be used next. Plus, it was a great excuse to add shoes/other clothes to a taur

trigun isn't so bad, as an anime...though, the "vashu de stampeduda" is thrown around about thirty billion times an episode...it's a little over the top on extraneous emotions, but the story, and setting are pretty nice.

There is character that is the protagionist in the movie named John Contintine. And the weapon is almost the exact weapon he uses later in the movie.
