I am wielding her Scissor Blade and if you notice the Mako mask on the belt, that's because (SPOILER ALERT) during the ending credits of the final episode, you can see Mako's outfit resembles Nui's in color scheme, her right eye is closed, and her backpack is essentially Nui's eyepatch upside-down. I believe Nui is Mako, because someone at TRIGGER is a huge Marvel fan, and I reason to believe they are pulling a Superior Spider-Man.
