This is just a simple randomizer for an artistic challenge! I wanted to introduce people to new animals and places, as well as plants and phenomena that happen in the world. I have massive folders full of information that I wanted to share - but no one really wants to read pages and pages of my noise, so I thought this would be a fun and simple way to achieve that goal!
The challenge is simple - click each button to be randomly distributed two animals, a place, and an extra attribute. Following the links embedded in each item to my resource drive, and look at images of the 'cards' given and combine them however it makes sense to you. The two animals might shape the body, and the textures, even the colors. The location should change some features about them, like longer fur for a cold place, or change their build for a barren place, or change their color for camouflage! Then the last attribute is a wild card, does that decide more about their colors? Their personality? Maybe features on that last item will play into the design, or even give them a superpower!
As of right now, there are only 33 animals, 7 Places, and 6 Wild Cards. I plan to add tons more, but the drive is being organized and formatted for now. The drive is public, and you should be able to navigate from the main directory: https://drive.google.com/?usp=folde.....jVKb1RIZ3p1R3M
In the drive animals and plants are organized by taxonomic classifications, places are organized by address, and phenomena are kinda just plopped into folders. The drive is pretty empty compared to my home computer's super drive, but I need to name and organize each item before uploading, because I want everything to be sensical.
I'll try to get all the images uploaded bit by bit. I think I'll call it a new version after 30 items added to each category. I'm really excited and I hope people like it.

c: Couldn't seem to fit Volcanic lighting in anywhere... but.. I still like the outcome xD
The Location was Angel Falls if you were Curious.

Maybe the volcanic lightning can inspire the colors! Like the shell has a magma themed color (red shell plates, but the seams of the shell have brighter magma color) and the body has thin lightning-blue stripes. Or maybe the personality of the character is extremely volatile, when they get mad everything becomes nightmare fuel! :3
Andean Bear leads to Mountain Lion XD
I thought I had it easy. I got
Andean Bear
American Domestic Shorthair Cat
Angel Falls
and Spiderweb Trees
When Andean Bear led to Mountain Lion I was thinking " Oh well both are cats awesome!"
XD then I googled it. Sounds cool tho. I'll see if I can work this out one day!
I'm really excited for it, lol. Though I'm considering adding extra categories like body type (feral, anthro, taur, plantigrade anthro, kemono, kemono-mimi, etc) and personality (naive, scrappy, modest, think pokemon natures) and I don't know what else. More dynamic and leading, I think. And it's the same amount of scripting as anything else, technically a little less.

Likes and dislikes could be interesting, but I'm not sure what I would put there. Foods? Music? I feel like that might prevent people from creating their own world for the character.
I think quirks could be funny, like "fascinated by the word 'platypus'" and "fiends for watermelon" or maybe "digs too many holes"

Dikdik, baby cat, angel falls, volcanic lightning.... fuck yes
lol freeya suggested this to me, this is absolutely amazing!
If I ever make anything out of these to post or as adoptables or art in general etc, I will be sure to credit you and your awesome generator here, tis quite the gem :)

Thank you! After I graduate in another month, I'll finish scripting the rest of the program! There are more than 100 options in each category, and a few new categories coming up. Bodytypes across the feral-human spectrum, Ages, Clothing ranging from historical across the world to modern fashions, and a few more categories are coming.
There is definitely a lack of resources for people trying to get into new animals. I found many by going through taxonomic classifications and finding "sister" subspecies. That's how I found the blanford's fox, which is a longer-tailed, slightly bigger fennec lookalike. As soon as I have time, I'll add more things!
