It depends on the paws, I actually can't bowl with my new Kijani paws as they have big pawpads that won't fit in the holes, but with my old ones what I do is I put my ring finger in the thumbhole of a 13 or 14 pound ball and just cup it from there. I have a little bit of control but can still put spin on it. It takes a lot of practice!
