CURIE THE EXISTING ANOMALY
It was started after the meltdown at Chernobyl. People wanted a way to clean up areas like that. The radioactive area would leave Chernobyl un-inhabitable for humans for over 24,000 years. A small group of scientist in a small lab decided they wanted to find a way to get rid of the radiation. Most people thought this would be impossible. These scientists were not most people.
The main idea of this project was to create an organism that can consume massive amounts of radiation and somehow live on it. It turned out to be very complicated but not impossible. If you were to crossbreed a radio-trophic fungus with a mammal the results would make a parasitic animal who feeds off radiation. This would become known as Project Fallout.
It was decided that they would use a normal wolf as this crossbred organism, that way they could put two of them into a closed perimeter and monitor that areas radiation level for an extended period of time. By splicing genetic material from both the fungus and the wolf the lab was certain it could create an organism from the two, but after several and horrifying attempts to tamper with nature they finally created what the scientists were working for. Though there was something off. The specimen was six pounds more than what was expected for it to weigh and was significantly larger than a normal newborn wolf. In fact it almost looked like a normal baby.
Instead of crying the newborn was silent. The scientists knew that the specimen was deformed but they did not care they needed to monitor and study its growth. Naming the specimen was hard after some time they were insisting on Geiger but they thought Curie was a lot cuter and suitable for him.
They named him Curie after Madam Curie. She was the women who discovered radium and plutonium. After a couple of weeks Curie opened his eyes for the first time his eyes were a bright yellow and his fur was a snow white. The scientists knew he was a peculiar pup and he was growing as if he was a newborn human baby. By now the lab was pretty sure the radiation that
Curie was exposed to at birth caused him to mutate into a humanoid wolf creature.
Curie grew much like a normal child besides the fact he was part wolf and walked on two legs. As he grew, Curie complained of throbbing pain in his left eye. We gave him antibiotics and numbing eye drops to help, but he said the pain still persisted. We decided to take a look to see if anything was wrong and we found that a black pigment was forming around his pupil. When he was fifteen we thought we should experiment with radiation exposure. For the first few months everything went well and his eye gradually formed into what looked like a radiation hazard symbol. After a while we upped the radiation level to see if he can take in an excess amount of radiation. He acted normal for the first couple of days then he started acting delusional. He had visual and audial hallucinations and what appears to be tribal marking started forming on his back, chest, arms, and thighs. When the tribals stopped forming they seem to emit a bright green light. As we studied this we came to the conclusion that both the tribals and his eye glow with the excess radiation.
THIS PROJECT IS STILL IN PROGRESS
