Dude, doesn't matter if it's OT. This is neat, I don't see much of this kind of Sci-Fi stuff. Is this based off a particular game? (EVE for example)

I started with a mix of StarDestroyer form Starwars and a Cruiser from a TV show i can't remember, it was something very uncommon. Anyway it's mostly out of randomness and has no particular background or story.

Do you got any idea what that Protos Device should do? I was pondering about dematerialising stars, or building a wormhole... something like that...

It looks to me like a support ship overall, however that huge thingy on the side says otherwise. Those suggestions are good (microwaving cows, hehehe), but maybe it could be a "good" ship? Like, it builds barebones planets for colonization of it's people? I don't know, it sounds weak, but I can't say it's been done before. :)

Hmm, interesting. I wonder about the bay doors close to the thrusters, would cause the ships to melt if in full power.

Hmm it's a spaceship, and against all rules of sci-fi there is no need to leave the engines on until you want to accelerate. :) Otherwhise they will just be off, and no Danger.
