Yeah, I started watching light saber fights on Youtube and this is what came out. I'm actually really happy with the shading and highlights on this one. I just feel... kind a dirty for drawing Sapph with a light saber. Like I'm that much closer to being a "fan boy" instead of just a fan boy.

excelent job, the glow from the saber is very well done (Read: helps write wookieepedia, I.e. UBER GEEK) it casts just like an actual lightsaber would. also, I can't believe I saw this and did not automatically fave and comment, my apologies for it being late.

nice pic, ya know I was thinkin of makin lightsaber videos too; however it would take a little forever to do all that rotoscoping if you're doing a long video (I guess no wonder it took lucas 3 years to make the movies cuz of rotoscoping lmao); but I still like creating lightsabers nevertheless cuz they are the main reason I fell in love with star wars.

Lightsabers and Jedi are why virtually everyone likes Star Wars. That and everyone loves a good dog fight in space. Besides, regardless of how ridiculous lightsabers might be as a concept, they just look really freaking cool.
