I've been waiting for this since October 27th last year. Regardless of what it's called, who the con chairman(s), what ever.
I'm just really happy and full of gratitude that this convention is held in the same comfortable environment as FurFright was.
My Lab Supervisor badge has already been paid for. The Super-8 has been booked. And I'm just counting down the days!!!
I don't have a Twitter or a FaceBook, so I'm relying on the word of others who do. So far, just about everyone who attends
the Auburn, MA furbowl knows about this convention. I've been bouncing around screaming "I CAN'T WAIT" while I'm there!
Last year was epic in that I at least got to see FurFright before it was done. This year will be equally epic in regards to me
attending the birth of a new con, with a new coat of paint and a new, refreshing feeling to it all... I CAN'T WAIT!!! lmfao!!!

When I got wind that Fur Fright was destined to crash, I thought that would have
spell "The End" of a decent northeastern furcon. We owe Bios, his friends, and
the supporting staff behind the whole idea of resurrecting said convention, even
though we're no-longer able to hold the original name. Fur Fright had far too much
heart and dedicated individuals to let such a convention go to waste, yet I still
entirely respect the reasoning as to why Fur Fright had to end.
I'll be working as Registration Staff, along with the A/V Staff too.
Showing my pride for this, I went R.N.A. to boot, and I'll be sure
to help make this con great and memorable and comfortable.
I only hope that legacy will hold strong, as it had with other revived cons.

I don't know what happened to cause the original staff to call it quits on FurFright,
and seeing as they've kept it personal (to me) says that they've kept it professional.
I won't go digging to see what happened, it's none of my business to know anything.
But I just hope that all parties involved are doing well. No bias, just wish well for all.
I've only been involved with the fandom for one year and I have to say, from what
I've seen, EVERYONE involved with FurFright, from the staff, to the volunteers, to
the Crown, to the surrounding hotels and businesses, and right down to my level,
the attendees... It was family, nay - It's STILL a family no matter what it's called!
